Overview:
Evercasting is a single player isometric fast-paced fantasy rogue-lite where the player is trying to escape a time loop of their own creation, repeatedly respawning at the start until they succeed. The elemental powers of the protagonist are the core of the gameplay experience, with different types of projectiles interacting with each other in a variety of ways.
This game is currently in development, and we have reached the production phase. I have taken on the roles of level and systems design within Evercasting, but have a hands on approach to all aspects of design.
My Current Project Design Goals:
Create new and exciting elemental combinations that can be used to affect the environment or alter enemy combat.
Generate game replayability through our use of elemental area procedural generation and randomised item pick-ups.
