Overview:
While in the pre-production stages of Toybox Troubles, I created a physical paper prototype to help iron out future game mechanics and get feedback from players early on in the development timeline.
My Project Design Goals:
Create an exciting narrative using paper cards that replicate how flash cards are used (question on front, answer on back).
Investigate how a physical notepad can be used for note taking - could influence future mechanics.
From user feedback, get an idea of how ‘fun’ the game mechanics are and how interactive the game is.
Explore future characters for Toybox Troubles.
